    Iron Cross Finger Ring

Don't know exactly where to post it,but being it has to do somewhat with EKs, I guess this forum is as good as any.

Recently purchased this. It came from a very reputable seller. He acquired it directly from a vet who brought it home from Germany along with a Kreigs flag and some other German WW2 militarai. Neither the seller nor I have any idea what this is.

The ring appears to be made of brass or a copper alloy. Painted EK in the center with a star on each side of the EK.

Anyone ever seen anything like this before?

    Information and opinions appreciated.

    Tom

      Hi SwordFish,

I don't see a swas on it, I presume there is none.

in that case it's most likely a patriottic ww1 ring.
(That is: if it is authentic, but there are very many different designs)

      Best regards,
      Ben

        Hi Ben.
No swas inside the iron cross. The seller also said he believed it may from Imperial Germany. How common are such patriotic rings?

Thank you. Again, all opinions and input welcome.

Tom, really can't help you with the value.

I thinl you get more info when you post it in the imperial section.

          Best regards,
          Ben

            Hi Tom!

It's a very nice patriotic Ring from Imperial Time.
Such patriotic decoration gave it in many variants and was manufactured in large quantities.

This Ring is one of the pieces in higher Quality. Nevertheless the value is not very high.
I would say the value is approximately 50 Euros.

            Regards
            Andreas

              Ben and Andreas,
Thank you very much for your input and the information. I really appreciate it. As an edged weapons collector, alot of these miscelanious items are way outside the scope of my knolwedge. I really enjoy my membership in the various associations I belong to, WAF being one of them.

Again, thank you both for the info.

              Take care,
              Tom
