    Unmarked EK2 on E-stand

    Hello to all,
    anybody else notice the way that the date on reverse is way out of position. Also the 3 in 1939 is a little bit higher than the rest of the date. Surely, with these features, it shouldn't be to difficult to identify the maker. Are these characteristics of any known crosses?
    Just an observation.

    Hasn't any of the EK2 experts out there got anything to say about this cross?

      The date can slide and be a bit out of position from time to time regardless of maker. This can happen during the stamping of the core or during the fitting/assembly of the cross. This is also no sign of being fake if the rest of the cross checks out well.

        Yes, this is the cross. Is there anyway to determine the maker of this cross, especially with the 3 a little higher in 1939, i thought maybe this could be a characteristic of a certain maker.
