              i class

              hi i look on the site and george has one like the top one and it is a L/15 unmarked as the maker. i also seen the one which you said was repo and he had the papers on it and from a dealer as a original L/11 unmarked and if was left in the air on it because of the papers on it . it looks like the one george had also unmarked on the sprage site . but i wasnt sure they both are close i think. cliff

                Here's one more example of the 1st Class that started the thread, a fake. It is well made, has a very near perfect pin assembly as the unknown maker, but nevertheless, it still stands as a fake. A lot of it's obverse features are copied after the 1st Class Mayer spange, but to me the first thing I always see are the odd-shaped claws. It is the well known 'Raptor' fake.
