unmarked EK1 opinions pls

unmarked 1st class EK, bit rusty but looks like a nice example still, any idea of a maker? ive just reserved it so will be mine soon these are the sellers pics. what are your opinions of it and the case? is it a period case you think?

I don't think it's S&L. Just judging by the pics here and the aforementioned WA homesite, the top of the pin on the back is way skinnier/thinner than those pictured. I'm also not really liking the extreme shallowness of the swaz & dates.
Might be something else, but not S&L.
No idea on the case, you might post a pic or two in the cases forum for more feedback on that.

Both the cross and the case are in a bit of a mess. Personally I would pass on this; the EK concerns me - it might just be wear and tear, as for the case - do you have any pics of the interior with the insert removed? Also a pic of the base of the case and one of the rear hinge?

Evilmike, there are one hell of alot of really nice cased EK's out there, my advice is to wait (I know it's hard) for the EK 1 of your choice to arrive.
