    Deschler DKiG's

There are some truely amazing fake DKiG's out there especially '134' and I was wondering if there the same for Deschler.

Does anyone have pics or links to fake Deschler DK's?

    Thanks

OK so I take the nil response 2 ways.

Either no-one has even seen a good fake of a Deschler or someone has but doesn't have any pics of (or links to) one.

    Interesting.

BUT let me rephrase the original question and break it down into sub-questions (all refer to the 4-rivet only):

Is there more than 1 type of wreath to be found?
Does the placement of the wreath vary or is it always in the exact same position?
Are there variations in the style of rivets?
    Should the pin bend easily?
Should the weight fall within a defined range?

There are high quality RE-Nazified 1957 German Crosses that look like Deschlers, with the thinner, high profile wreaths. However, the swastika is incorrect for the Deschler type and the new hardware and rivits are slightly off. They would not fool anyone who has handled an original, as the weight is also too light.

The one I just handled is amazingly good and I'm afraid to say will be fooling many in the future. It really is that good.

          Richard,

Is this something that has been around, or new, on the market?

... and take care for partly original/faked post war ass. ones. I know very well old manufacturer stock material was coming out some years ago.

I can't say if this is a new type or not but I have never seen one so good.
