    Cloth DKig help

I am desperate for some quick help . Today at work i am out on deliveries when i passed the town hall i noticed there was an antique fair on so i parked up the van and went in , just inside the door there was a guy with a dagger and an unmarked EK2 nothing to talk about but inside there is a chap with tonnes of various medals of which none are of interest to me ......
Then as walking away i looked into his watch cabinet and there it is ....
A DKiG cloth version , unworn , in a lovely little case , not period i dont think but the guy assures me the dkig is original army unworn .
This is not my field and i cant find one the same anywhere..Heres the clincher , its just after 2 pm here , the guy will be there till 4 ish he says....
Who can tell me if the wreath and date are stitched on the army ones instead of a gold ring like most ...
On the outside of the ring the silver dashes that make up the tips of the award are little pieces of metal . Like silver...
The workmanship all in is absolutely stunning ...
    What do i do...
    I have 1 hour to make a decision .

Stomper, can't you take a pic with your 'phone and post it? Won't he be in the shop Monday?

Looks to be a embroidered version of the cloth DKIG, I've seen a few over the years but this appears different from those I have viewed.

It appears to be well made, with quality stitching.....effort has gone into this but I'd like to hear some other opinons. Could be a great find!!

                        Good Luck,
                        Mike

The wreath on this one certainly looks very different from the ones I have seen elsewhere. Detlev's book shows a couple embroided ones but the wreath is very different indeed.....

Thanks , so far so good then....I am worried incase i jumped in with this 1 . No prior knowledge on the subject at all except picture references etc
Something told me this was too nice for a fake ....
                            Absolutely any opinion welcome ....

Green's a strange choice? It looks like it has been made in Pakistan to me, it is of similar construction to the Regimental blazer badges etc that they produce over there (and it looks too new). It does not look like the usual type of embroidered DK either.
