Another thing to consider is that some of the wartime photos of RK winners toward the last few months of the war had their RKs AIRBRUSHED onto previously existing photographs by Reich Photographers (or whomever). I guess they just didn't have time to take photos of the crazy amount of RKs that were handed out in April and May 1945
