Look at the obverse of your badge, the right hand grip. Then look at the right hand grip of the 43. Yours is a Deumer. The pin and catch of your badge are also typical Deumer. Very close in detail, but the sword grips really stand out to me as being very different. Our Deumers match perfectly IMO. Also look at how the pin comes off the hinge on the Deumers compared to the 43, very different. The Deumers are flat, the 43 comes off with a rise.

I believe I stand corrected. The early pins on the Deumers ARE different than the 43's for sure. I thought I had things figured out correctly, but I am wrong, and you're right. The cross in post #1 is a '43'. There's a slight taper to the Deumer pins too, isn't there? Something for me to remember about these.
