      Hi Rick,

almost every ek with this stamps I have seen so far, are "upgraded".
The stamps have been added later.
But you can only see that on pics under an angle, or when in hand.

It MIGHT be a good one, but I am very wary of these ek's.
      Best regards,
      Ben

I would say YET ANOTHER '2' marked EK2 from Phillip Militaria....this one without the typical Juncker 'hump' where the ring is attached

Are you 100% sure the Niemann EK2 above was described as '2' marked?

                Marshall,

You're absolutely right. I had this Detlev's 'typical Juncker' type in my Juncker folder, and posted it here by mistake. Disregard this second set of photos. It is NOT a known Juncker, but something else that has been presumed to be a Juncker because of the cross hatching on the inner beading. We're still doing research on this type. It's my fault for posting it here by mistake. Sorry you guys. The first ctoss is definately a Juncker, marked '2'.

                Thanks Marshall,

                Robert

                  Hi!

I agree with Ben that almost every ek with this stamps are upgrated.
I always observe the updates of Phillip Militaria. In the last 4 updates there was 3 times this "lazy 2 EK 2". That is an aspect at the authenticity of these pieces which leaves doubts.
I won't have one of these pieces in my collection.

                  Regards
                  Andreas
