    Cased EK1's w/docs - 6 & 100

Picked up four cross two of which are shown here. First is a Zimmerman and the second is a Rudolf Wachtler & Lange. Any comments or concerns appreciated. One doc is dated 1941. Any clue which doc goes with whicvh cross?
    Thanks
    Richard

                  No concerns, very nice sets.

Are you sure the docs go with the crosses? Or did you get them from a dealer? There's no way of telling (that I'm aware of) which would go with which....

                    Nice crosses
The only way you could know which cross to put with which document is if someone could tell a late war from early war cross for these makers as one is quite an early document & one is quite a late document.
In my opinion, wherever you get any grouping with TR items you just don't know if they really go together, if each award was named then that would be great but they're not & i know a lot of people won't like this but once a collector has a grouping in his hands it's impossible to prove beyond all doubt that they belong together.
That's no reason though not to enjoy buying award documents & displaying them with the medals.
                    Nice crosses mate.

Thanks for taking a look. These came from an old collection so there is a chance the docs and crosses go together but who knows? Maybe - maybe not. Anyway, glad they passed and appreciate your comments.
