I felt very fortunate to have found such a nice piece. At first I hesitated, not knowing for sure whether it was an original or not. It just seemed too frosted and new looking to be an original. You just don't find them like this. You may have seen the other thread I started recently on the spange. When indeed Gordon Williamson gave me a on the piece, as well as others, I sent word that I wanted it. It appears that it has been in storage for the better part of it's life, and handled very little. And, yes, the gloves go on to keep it in this same condition.
Kevin, I hope you will post some photos of your spanish cross. It's excellent!!!
