EK 2. Maker ?

Hi.

Today I got this nice and untuched Ironcross 2 class, from the son of a SS Unterscharf******252;hrer. He got this outside Lenigrad in 1942.
It is unmarked and it has a bit smaller "1939" than normal I think.
Somebody knows the marker of this ?

Possibly a "55", by the looks of the frame. You might try matching on the W.A. homepage.

Looking at the flaws it looks like the 55 that I have, I dont think there is any other maker that ends up with a frame like this unless its a one off!!!!
