Please look and comment on this Cross... Some have thought a makers mark is on the back.. Actually it is an 800 mark... Does this mean it was a jeweler made one?? What would value be..?? is 300.00 reasonable

Hello Rich...I am sure others more experienced that I will comment but I would wish to see more pictures of this cross before trying to value it in any way. I am also curious as to whether or not it's been repainted. On my computer screen the paint looks mint yet the beading and rim are more worn, as I would have expected them to be. What concerns me is the difference between the two levels of wear. Don't mean to rain on your parade, just how it looks to me here.
