But where the Schinkel crosses marked? This one has a mm 21
And if so, whats the price of a Schinkel EK1 ?

I had this doubt so i thought i would post it to be sure about it, not going to buy it, just to know and improve the knowledge

    Thanks

There's nothing about the cross that I know from original Schinkels.
I also never saw an original Schinkel stamped with a maker mark.

They do turn up a lot lately

it is just a known fake of a Schinkel-type . Save all your money.

          Hello

I agree with what has already been said this cross is no good.

As to maker markings on Schinkels, there are no known originals that carry any maker numbers. The only exception that I have heard of is referred to by Gordon Williamson on page 61 of 'The Iron Cross of 1939'. He mentions one example which carried the mark 'Wilm'. Beyond that there are, as far as I am aware no marked original Schinkels. Therefore any encountered with a makers mark must viewed as suspect as either a fake, or an original which has had a mark added at some later date - possibly in the hope of boosting it's value.

          Regards
          David
