    Dietrich's Book

Just curious as to when the possible publication date of the book will be? Haven't heard anything lately. Thanks.

I'm working (hard) on it. The chapters regarding the LDO-PKZ are nearly finished and so are the ones for the Manufacturing, the historic timeline, the Juncker and S&L crosses. Just for relaxation I'm currently working on the Grandcross.

I'm shoothing still for the middle of the year to give it to Frank. Patience - it's not that easy. I don't want to be ripped apart...

No matter how much effort you put into it.......no matter how many checks you make......no matter how careful you are..........I can guarantee you one thing......SOMEONE WILL TRY TO RIP IT APART.

          It goes with the territory.

I hope the book goes well for you.......something you can be proud of in later years.

              Dietrich,
I look forward to my signed copy of your book. It will be a great read for me and other collectors a like, so as far as I am concered, take your time because I rather have quality then a rushed product.

I saw some parts of it, and I have to say Dietrich is doiing some exellent work. It will be "The reference of the century" for sure.....and the size of a KöningsTiger.

Good work Dietrich ...but a bit faster please ....

I have to concurr - it is not easy. I am in the middle of the book on the Flakkampfabzeichen and it is SO HARD! I feel a real responsability to do it right - not least of all because Opa was in the Flak! But imagine you have all these makers and variants and you have a photo of a piece of the item that you have to make interesting to the reader. Not so easy! I have also seen the work from Dietrich, and as Pieter alludes, we can not call it a book. It is a TOME! And the quality will blow your mind!

I've seen parts of Dietrich's book too, and I can assure one and all that it will be well worth the wait. (And the weight! )
