              EK2 mm2

              Hi Roenk:
Can you post a close up pic of the obverse, what looks to be a die flaw or something else at the 4:o'clock position. Also if possible can you post the dimension of the cross in mm height w/o the hump ,width, flange width, thickness and weight if possible in gr. This seems to be a difficult maker to identify with that marked ring #2.

                Hi Meriksson and Rick.
Here is a foto from the ugly line on 4o' clock.
The cross is 43.65mm x 43.70mm w/o the hump, the thickness is 4.05mm and
the thiskness in the fitting is 1.10mm.
Sorry but i haven't any scale...

                  Hello,

as fas as I can see is the cross OK.
Date and frame construction with hump fits to a Juncker one.
The only one what here is missing is the typical but not always to see fence style in the inner corners.

See as comparition the depicted one.

                  Best Franki

                      ek 2 mm #2

                      Hi Roenk
I'm very concerned about the flaw @ 4:o'clock, I've never seen this before. Along with these dimensions you posted are well under the norm of 44.2 mm not that means much, but when compared to the dimensions of 70 different cross manufactures it comes in under size by .40 mm. this may not seem like much of a difference but the cross is undersize . I'll hold my opinions until others with more knowledge than myself have a say.

I'm not so sure that Franki's cross is the same as roenk's. Note that Franki's EK has the 'Wachtler & Lange' type scrunched beading die flaw at 3 o'clock (which has been discussed at some length in another thread with respect to 'purported' Juckers) and roenk's does not.

I think it's possible that roenk's EK is actually another example of the type that was discussed here (although the core seems to be a little different...the date is positioned higher):

                          Hi!
Now i am so busy in this week, but end of the week i will posted
more and better photos from the cross, because i found more interesting cracks on it.
The material of the frame is very slim.
                          Regards
