Hinge is reason why I asked for opinnions. Quality of the cross is very good and could be original but hinge is strange.

I also notice the width of the frame is variable all the way around. Especially thin/narrow on the 6 o'clock arm, under the 1939. Can you tell us the source of this cross?

Also the frame looks differnet at 3 and 6 o'clock.
Could be the angle at which the photo was taken, but I do not think so.
