    My First Cased EKI Cross

Well after ten years of collecting I finally got a cased EKI. I have no idea what took me so long since I do have other EK's. However, it was time and this is what I got, a cased EKI maker marked 26 B.H. Mayer. Have a look.
    Thanks,
    Eric

    I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

                Hey kid,
Your crappy pictures don't do that cross justice! That's one find looking EK.

Thanks for the comments. For some reason I am having problems with my camera which I will still have to reslove. Hopefully I can get some better ones later.

                    Eric-

A beautiful "first" piece! I think it was well worth the wait

Congrats, and be careful as cased EK1's can become very, very addictive

                        Congrats on your first EK1!

I have several EK1's but only one cased at the moment.. It is also a "26" and was my first EK1 ever so I am keeping it :-)

Yours looks to be in better condition :-)

Posting a picture of mine to compare, hope you don't mind!

                        Best regards,
                        Jørgen

Very nice cross. My first EK1 was also a cased 26 in mint condition. Iron Crosses are very addictive!!!!

Thanks again everyone for the comments. I had some time today so I was able to figure out my camera. As a result my pictures are now better. Jorgen there is no problem with posting yours on this thread. That is what the forum is all about, sharing and comparing to better our knowledge as fellow collectors. Thanks again to everyone for the nice comments.
