Personally I do value an attributable piece higher than one that isn't. Of course collectors are fickle so some would pay a premium for mint, unissued pieces while others (like me) tend to desire pieces that were actually awarded and worn. On top of that, this has extra appeal to a Luftwaffe collector like me because the attributed winner of this was a Ju-88 pilot. Very cool.
