More like a get out of here kind of answer .
I know theres probably loads of info out there and if no one had answered at all it would have been less off-puting than getting answers like that.
I do understand that im the new guy around here and i cannot expect people to trust or even help me but i feel a little like i have made to look stupid . Or at least they have attemted to make me look stupid .
Thanks Mark for taking the time to answer .
You will be OK..perhaps you can find satisfaction in just owning the crosses and not worrying about who made them?

Your perception of peoples comments came from your frustration of no immediate answers, the people here want to help you, it is what makes it fun, sharing the knowledge and all that good stuff. Just try to be more patient, IDing EK2 is daunting and very time consuming, even for the advanced collector.

Stomper another thing that may have put people off was your 'Bung it on Ebay' quip regards the fake OLs. Many collectors consider it poor form to pass-off a known fake on another unsuspecting collector.

I'm not sure if it was a joke or not but either way it probably rubbed a few of the guys up the wrong way.

No need to do anything hasty with your collection over this. Take a step back, have a beer and chill.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'

Hi there david , it was kind of a joke and being serious i would never attempt to sell something as genuine knowing it to be a fake even though i bought it from ebay as genuine . If thats all it takes to rub these guys up then maybe i should be somewhere where the guys have a sense of humour eh.
In all fairness to they do fill a gap in my collection and only when showing another collector would anybody know , and i do like them so i will not be selling them until everything else is sold.
Incase anyone is interested i have started placing my crosses on ebay, search using my username... markholmes692002

I really like your collection and think you should keep it. Sell off a couple of duplicate items maybe but don't get rid of the whole thing. Just my 2 cents worth.
