    A 'been there' Diamond B-Set

This set has seen a lot of action. It is an attributed B-set that has gone thru a big deal of history! Made of silver with Simli stones, some are missing. But one can still see the quality and craftmanship that went into that high award.

      Dave,

      Erich Hartmann

I will show the whole set, the RK, the oaks, the swords and the A-Diamonds in the upcomming book. And his 'spare' RK. Together with some documents. This set has not been published yet.

That means I can't find the right words...
What an amazing piece of craftmanship.

Who said diamonds were a girls best friend?
            Does that make me gay?

            Best regards,

At first count, appears 15 diamonds are missing. Imagine the stories this could tell

I think part of the story is known but I will tell it again. And it's not Diamonds, it's Simli. The A-piece is absolutely mint! He always wore the B-piece.

Harry, of course it is no mine! I was contacted by the owner and invited to document this set together with a lot of other RK's (attributed), oaks and swords. I did this earlier this year and will go back again later this year. I can ask him ....

They don't belong to the Hartmann family anymore then?...I didn't know they were sold.

No, not in the family anymore. Private collector in Germany. They were never on the market, it was a private deal quite same time ago.
