I really want to pick up a EK1 but right now I can't justify the price. I have seen one offered for $150 but the core has been repainted. I don't really like items that have been modified like this but I don't know where I could get one any cheaper than that. It would still display well I guess. What do people here think? Go for it or wait for down the road? I don't see EK1's for much less than $250-$300 American.

How good is the repaint? And does the cross have a maker mark?George -
its better to wait and buy one for lets say 200, you should be able to find that with a little luck. A alterd piece is always touched and much harder to sell.Comment

The cross is mm 20. Also haven't seen a EK1 for $200.00 so this is a decent price.Comment
