Mfg. Round 3 ?

Has anyone decided on a possible maker of the ek2 round three yet? They certainly don't match anything I've seen, except the pic in the Assman catalog. Thanks, Charlie

The EK 2 illustrated in the Assmann catalog also appears to have the small ribbon ring attached above the frame, as if it's on a hump (another characteristic of "Round 3s"). So that's two clues which indicate that Assmann could be the manufacturer.

On the other hand, that same Assmann catalog also contains the infamous illustration of the RAD Long Service Medal with Reichsarbeitsdienst mis-spelled....
