Jens, it looks good with messed up frame. As I mentioned before I never saw a round 3 with so much flaws and with corners like that, as though they melted away.

            Hi Henri,

many thanks for your reply. Do you mean the core is good ? If so why should someone add a bad frame to a good core ?
It still makes me wonder as the source was just so good. Isnt it possible that its a rare variant or something else ?
Have it in hands all looks perfect, except for the flaws in the frame. But it doesnt look like someone opened the frame.

Damned I know why I dont collect medals.

Anybody else who have an opinion about that cross ?

            Many thanks Jens

The core looks good and so does the frame, but it looks like it came out badly manufactured or something to that extent. Don't really know what exactly, but can only assume that the die was not cleaned out and not enough time was given for the mould of this frame to settle.

My final verdict would be that this is a legitimate thick version round 3 ek2 with a badly manufactured frame. I guess this is a defective one that got away !!

                Hi Henri,

thanks for clearing that up for me. Do you have any clue as for the value ? Realy, I have searched some sources but couldnt find a one to compare.

                Many thanks Jens

Hard to say for your cross, but one in good condition sells for about 240€. Hope this helps .
