Classic example L/12 RK & case! I really like them like this. The patina has a character of its own. However, the strings are scary to me also. Thankx for posting it.

Sharp eye Roy!

The rest of the set is fabulous to say the least....case, RK, patina and 'natural wear'!!! Look at the back of the Cross and compare it to the front...then look at the ring!! All just wonderful.

A point of interest is the loop...tapered and finely finished ends would suggest a very early made L/12 800 Cross!

I am proud to got it and says thanks for all feedbacks , the Knight Cross was from Siegfried Freyer and he got it 1942 , if I comes home from work ( in the moment lunch time at home ) I will show the rest from the Konvolut than I got his Wehrpass , Soldbuch , and the rest from documents that he have got .I am very proud that he gives me all what he have and the best of all is that he Lives and he was in good Condition ( sorry my english is not the best )

...very nice juncker cross...i do not see why everybody is so scared about ribbons with these ties...I've seen several of original ones still with the actual recipients.
