    BLUE DIVISION EK's

I am looking for information on the post-war EK's tha were awarded to the Spanish members of the Blue Division. I know that, as a rule, their quality leaves a bit to be desired. Does anyone know if some of them have hallmarks or logos on them? Who manufactured them, anyway? The one that I have in my collection looks as though it had been made by some kid in shop class. Under these circumstances how does one tell a real one from a ringer?

I've never seen one with a maker mark.
Here's an example from the Bill Stump collection.

Reverse of Bill's. (I have an example, too, but like you said it looks like it was made yesterday by a kid in shop class. I'll try to post pics of it later today.)

Thanks, George. Compared to mine, yours looks as though it could have been custom made for Herman Goering.

That was Bill Stump's cross. Here's mine. (I'd take more pics, but my digital camera is not cooperating.... )

Yeah, George. The picture of yours looks a lot like mine, except that the broach on mine is silver-toned (fake? Under the circumstances, how could one tell?). Someone on an other forum once said that "...the Spanish make many beautiful things - but iron crosses are not among them."
