    The reverse

Notice the imprint of the arm in the ribbon, and the pattern of the thread is imbedded in the paint at 12:00( it does not rub off). The cross must have been packed away for awihle.

      the edge

Here is the flaw I mentioned. It is on 3-9 o'clock-each side. Top and bottom outer edges are ok. Anyone have any idea who the mfg. is? Thanks, Charlie

        Hi,

i've never seen a flaw like this but if i forget this i would say that's a Meybauer.
But it's only an Idea that i would not say as a fact.

        Regards
        Andreas

the flaws are consistent with the 333 fake. The width is exactly the same as the mm24s. The core rattles, and the wear indicates it was worn. Someone put some effort into this one. BTW, both rings are tombak.

                      This is a devestating fake.

The second '1' in 1813 is the biggest tell. However, I am very interested to see the bizarre beading pattern you showed here:

Is that also to be found on other '333' fakes?
                      Best regards,

I just saw a new-looking 333 with the same beading. Maybe some guys with examples of 333s can post some pics. I would also like to know if theirs' match the dimensions of mm24s.

I've had this for 3.5 years now, and just found out about it a few days ago. If this is the quality of fakes then, I wonder what it is NOW?
