    EKII with a surprise !!

Today I received another round 3 ek2 and to my surprise the person selling it also sent me some history of the owner. It use to belong to Lieutenant-Colonel Alfred Fischer and the person who sold it to me has the same surname!!! Here it is below.

I have written back to get more info and to ask that if they have more items of the same person to give me first preference to try and keep the grouping together

Thanks. Getting this little bit of history about the cross got me over the moon. I now wait impatiently for a response from the seller and hopefully getting more information on Alfred Fischer.

The pieces with history are the best. In such cases it's not really important who is the manufacturer of the cross ore waht veriation it is.
Naturally it is beautiful even if the piece is a special but thats secondary.

Congrads for this very nice piece with history an i wish you te best finding mor information about the carrier of this EK

I agree 100%. ANY attributed item is worth more to me if it can be directly linked to the original owner/recipient.

                  Henri-

Beautiful cross, and even more special is the "history" you have behind it. Please do keep us posted with any further developments.

                  Congrats!
