    EK2 - Unusual Beading Feature - Please Help ID!

    Hi Everyone,

    I was just looking at some EK2's today and noticed an unusual beading feature, at least not something I have seen before.

    Do any other members have an EK as this one? Anyone know the maker?

    Thanks for looking.

    All the best,
    Toby.

    Here's a close-up of the detail I'm referring to (beneath the suspension ring);

          It's likely just an accidental anomaly.

            I'm the same opinion as George.
            The cross looks fine and the deviation is in the range of tolerance i think but i've never seen a deviation like this, what has nothing to say.

            In all cases: A very nice and interesting cross

            Regards
            Andreas

              Thanks for the comments on this.

              The curious thing is that it looks to precise to be accidental.

              Also, it occurs on the obverse only which would tend to support the conclusion that it was done for aesthetic reasons.

              Interesting though.

              Best,
              Toby.
