      Hello,

Sorry to hear about the purchase......

When you get the other items put in the correct forums, please post links to them as I would like to follow them.

Have to be REALLY careful with the old guy in the parking lot routine, every show has them and 90% of the time they are selling repro to rip of eager buyers looking for a bargain. Usually they don't go inside the shows ,just hunt victims on the outside,if you buy and realise the stuff is not good after showing it around you have no chance of finding them again, they are long gone.Hope your other items are good, butnot looking good

IMO that EK1 is not original.

            Steve,

            Everything you bought was fake.

The Army officer overseas' cap, I saw on Friday. It was a modern fake. The German Cross in Silver is a fake. The S.S. collar tabs also fake. Lets just say, everything they sold you was bad. I'm sorry.

They also were selling 2 S.S. M-43 Officer's caps. Who ever bought those will also be disappointed.

Wish you had brought them over to my table before you bought them.

We could have taken the "good" folks around to the back of the building and showed them some Texas style whoop-ass!

                O.K. almost everything.

The H.G. Visor hat might have an original metal eagle. I didn't need to pick it up. But the Iron Cross was marked "800" on the back plate and also the lower arm of the cross. It was of a one piece construction, and was also not magnetic.

By the time I saw the items Steve bought, it was already too late.

I'm sure the crooks had already slipped out of town.
