Need help on EK2 Spanges and KVK 2nd.

    Hello to all,

I've never owned a spange and would like to know if these are original and if the makers are known. Also, the KVK has a Maker Mark on the ring; is that common? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm starting to get paranoia now; no help from anyone?

How about if I add "Pretty Please?"

I can't match those Spangen to a known maker or to a known fake, so I'm afraid I can't be of much help.
As for the KVK, it is entirely proper for the maker mark to be on the ring. I don't have one by that maker to compare yours to, though.

                  I agree with George.
That first style of spange usually causes me concern, but this IMO is one of the very few that I would happily own (and maybe one of the originals that has spawned so many fakes!) also the second spange IMO is good also... so give them to me!

Thanks guys; I really appreciate the help.

These three all came in a cigar box full of TR stuff, from the son of the US veteran that brought them home from WWII. Since all the other articles appear to be original I'm hoping the first Spange is as well.

Harvey, it's very interesting to know that the first spange was a direct vet-purchase. It confirms my opinions on these, thanks for showing, congrats!

Thanks, George and Jon, I really appreciate your help. These two spangen are the only reason I bought the pile of stuff in the first place.
