    From the craddle ...

    Hello to everybody.
I'm very happy and proud to has become a member of this community.
I am a "virgin" collector and I would like to learn with your little help how to distinguish an original EK from a fake one.
Honestly I should learn almost everything about collecting third reich decorations !
I admit that I have already been fooled because I have spent 100 euros for an EK I that is fake.
I showed that to some very honest and well known worldwide sellers, and they told me that is fake for different reasons.
I would like to show the object to you and I will be very thankful to anyone who will tell me his opinion explaining the reason why.
The first small but at the same time problem is how to attache the pictures and how many pictures do I have to send. Do I have use the Post New Thraed button to attache and post or not?
Thank you and sorry for the waste of time

Welcome to the forum! Yes, you can start a new thread for the cross. If you search in this forum, you will find MANY examples of fakes, and WHY they are fakes. You will also see many many many good crosses.

Easiest way to post pictures is to become an association member. Then there are size limitations (700x750, I think, for .jpgs) and they can only be up to 244 kb. Other formats have different requirements.

Let us know if you need more assistance!

As Hank said,if you want to post pictures, you need to become an association member. It only costs $25.I joined last October and the amount i have learned coupled with the expert opinions of forum members has saved me $100's.
