This is my 2nd of three EK1's I have. I would like opinions on the maker please. The maker mark on the pin looks like "L58".

The Obverse is definitely textbook Souval, but the reverse is typical 1957ish setup.

Is a Souval a post war cross? Is it genuine?

Souval manufactured WW2 medals and badges through the war AND after the war (with and without the swastika). The cross you show could have been made from WW2 parts, however, the reverse setup indicates that it was made Post-War.

Could you give me an idea as to the value of this cross?

The value now is lower then a EK2, but imo do keep it. I have one also but whit a diff core, i think not long from now these will get more value. Im shure they are not made in such great nr´s as the real ones.

Thank you for the information. I am looking for a nice PAB as a possible trade for this cross if anyone is interested.
