Mint cased 1939 EK1 on dealers site

Why is it that many of the super mint EK's are 26's. Were there that many Russian Horde 26 marked EK's? Thank you,

I don't know if there are really that many Mint "26"'s. I think because the minty ones are usually always "26" makes it appear there are lots around.

How many have been for sale lately? I bet no more than what you could count on one hand. Everyone keeps showing their collections off is what makes it appear there are many around.
