The scans make this look very shiny I know. maybe thats why you are all so quiet?

Skip,looks good. close up of the maker mark please. Also the catch and area that is a little odd possibly.

Looks good, Skip. Silver plating over Tombak. I'd say 1200-1400 EUR would be a fair price range. Catch is textbook.

I'm not up on SC prices so all I can add is it's a stunning example and one of the nicest I have seen in plated tombac.

Well that pic makes all the difference in the world Skip! Yes catch is just fine! (as we already know with Franks eagle eye on the job ). I was going to say 1100 to 1300 e but Frank must see through bad scans better than me. He is right on the nose there. Nice cross if you want to sell it PM me.

Nice piece! I have one question on the Meybauer SC's catches in that I see this one uses a simple round wire, but I've also seen them with more of the "DK" type catches as well. Has anyone else seen those on a Meybauer SC before??

I believe you are referring to the earlier pieces? I have one in bronze (unmarked but I'm sure its Meybauer) with the catch you describe.
