This is one of the latest additions to my EK11 in packet collection.
The packet has the name 'Eugen Schmidthaussler,Pforzehim' printed on the reverse, this manufacturers Prasidialkanzlei Lieferant number is '28'.
As far as I am aware there are no known examples of an EK11 marked '28'. If you have one, please post it!!!
So, we have a packet marked with a manufacture's name, containing an unmarked EK11.
Is it reasonable to assume that the EK11 in the packet was made by the manufacturer whose name appears on the packet?
We certainly can't prove at the moment that it was, yet. But equally we can't prove that it wasn't.
Does anyone have a packet with the same makers name on it,containing an unmarked EK11, the packet and EK11 having been together for as long as the owner is aware?
If so we can make a comparison of the two EK11.
So, for the time being, can we attribute this EK11 to Eugen Schmidthaussler?
I know that there are other examples out there of unidentified EK11 in packets with manufacturers names printed on them.
If the above assumption can be made, then perhaps we can start to identify some previously unknown makers of the EK11
What do you think?
