EK1 L/11 W. Deumer , maker flaw?

Hello everyone,

I just got this cased EK1 by W. Deumer here. I believe the cross is orginal and very nice overall. The only issue I have is the line of gap on the top side of the cross when I recieved it. There was no picture in the seller ads showing the flaw on the cross top view so I bought it without knowing. Looks like the two iron layers were not glued or bonded tightly during manufacturing process. I am just wondering if this kind of flaw is common in EK made by this maker and if it could affect its value significantly.

A small production error when the two frames are not properly soldered together.
Not uncommon to find on iron crosses. It should have been mentioned by the seller
as it has influence on the market value.
Beside that, it's a nice cross in good condition with the matching Deumer case.
