EK2 24 with Strange additional sign , review and opinions

Today arrived tis the mm 24 type EK2 , on the pictures not was good visibility the additional sign ,so I bought this the piece.
I ve'll never saw ago this the sign . Idea
First I thought that a partial marking ,than a X or oak leaf ,but on the pictures see that no .

What do you think about it ?

yes my friend THX your the opinion , I already see ,but the under a magnifying glass was not clear here is my same type

I managed to make a picture from another angle so it looks better,looking straight ahead, it looked like a small crescent
