My initial comment would be "It could be good, but I wouldn't spend more than about $25.00 without better pictures".

One minute of research from your pictures...

"Coke bottle" pins are always scary, but at least its not typical (low 1939) Floch.

Ok, maybe the pictures do not show enough, as when I opened the pack and looked at this cross. The beading looked so large and defined, it sort of shocked me and I immediately said to myself: "Damn, I got faked. But it looks so good the paint and sharpness of swastika and date." The beeding just shocked me. Well I am at home with my daughter who is running a fever of 105, so had alot of time on my hand.

I took all my ek1s out to compare and actually found that the 107 has similar ( but still smaller ) beading, and all the others have much smaller compact beading. The beading could be so pronounced on this ek1 maybe because of it's condition ?

I think it's original. There's nothing about it that has me worried. There's plenty about it that would make me happy.

Thanks Richard. After comparing with the other ek1s I did feel better about it.

Any idea about the maker with such big pronounced beading? The closest I found is Carl Wild.

I'm haunted by this ek1, now trying to find the maker. Closest I got to is a K&Q 65, but not sure about the upper pin area . It's the corners of the beading that puzzle me too.
Can anyone compare this to any particular maker . Here is a closer shot.
