      I think that's a fair offer Rick.
After all, the same seller just sold an absolutely lovely Observer's badge for the bargain basement price of $40.
      WHAT A STEAL!!
The question is, who did the stealing???

Any self-respecting LDO inspector would've shot someone before letting this Junck(er) out of the factory.

            knights cross.

Im no expert by any means. but let me relate a story that gilian david told me about ebay. he was watching a himler ss dagger and contacted the guy direct to try to buy it. he is also on this site and the third reich forum under assumed names. he told me that every one trashed the dagger. he said that the expensive stuff most of the collecters will talk themselves out of a good deal for fear of getting screwed. he said that the chatter on the two sites was i dont like this and i dont like that its a fake. so he said he buys the dagger for 5 grand. and sells it the next day for 10. do we some times judge with out thinking?

I've had the feeling that I've let something go that perhaps I should've spent more time on. But on the other hand, I've purchased some things that I seriously worried about until I had them in my hands - then discovered what a bargain I found.

On the subject of Juncker, these are one of the easiest to discern. Due to their unique markings and the superb quality of their work, it is fairly easy to label a fake.

It all boils down to the same theme, knowledge! Research, ask questions, study, repeat.

A £60 fake, £25 case, probably three piece construction, as found on many internet sites, catalogues, and militaria fairs sold as fakes for Re-enactors and the such like people who want to buy them.
The seller is just trying to earn (rip someone off!) some money, he might even believe it's an original item!!!!!!!!

                Regards

The cross is fake. I do not understand why a cross meant for re-enactors would have a maker mark unless someone bought a cross for re-enactors and put the stamp on it themselves. This was meant to deceive.

                    Greg,
Look on www.nicholasmorigi.com 99% of what this man is selling are fakes, he sells the same type of RK as the one on E-bay but he is not trying to deceive, but then again he's not the manufacturer.
I see only the people who are trying to sell them as real items are trying to deceive.

                    Regards
                    Andy

Pretty scarey! I am not sure why they would stamp a maker mark unless he knows that this will attract some unscrupulous people.

                        Maybe they're "re-enacting" the LDO....
