your thoughts on this spange

Can anybody tell me if this spange is ok? I personally have no experiance with these awards, it is an unmarked tombak with repaired hinge, what could be a fair price for this one? (i mean only the spange not the case)

I would say that the badge is fine......too bad about that hinge though. Why don't you want the price to include the case, is it a known fake, it looks fine as well. Anyhow, for the badge alone, I could see myself paying about $275.00 for it.

I agree it looks good from here.
I can't see any central viens to the feathers. I'm kinda guessing that they are there, and it's just the pic, so I'd have a closer look at the front if you can (and post closer pics for us!)

On the case the wings are filled in and the '9's are odd, but as for a known fake case I'd like this verification to be vouched for, hence further pic's of the case if possible ? Not my forte EK related item's.......perhaps the packets and box forum for other thoughts too !!!!!!! Maybe Allan can help ? He's my box man on these sort's of things, along witgh afew others !

The spange.......with considerations accepted, there's a worn look about it and a possible modiification to the hinge bolt !!! Genune I'd agree, from what little I know of these, yes.

A possible connection of course, but the case.........the outer covering looks good......more deliberation required on this, a common fake, I'd debate not in my experience !!??????? But more than willing to be educated It's not of the three common fake type's......but I'd agree, it has traits certainly

I don't have them, these are the pictures the seller provided me with, i will post all the pictures in the boxes and cases forum.
