I was looking at my cases and noticed the strange marks on the top of this EKI screwback case. The top left photo is a close-up of the stamp. I used a microscope that takes pictures and then merged the three photos togethere to make this close-up. The other two photos are shots of the case. I could not remove the inside to see the stamps on the bottom or insert. All comments welcome. Jim

Jim,
This very case shell and outer covering is a known 'earlier' wartime (TR) wound badge case.
But as we know case shells were used for an array of awards, sometimes with the outer covering being one in the same.
What is the diameter of the recess Jim?
As for the logo, this is something that is on a list of research quests.

Thanks Jim, I'll get back to you on this one!!
I'll also copy this thread to the Imperial forum, if indeed this was intended for a Turkish award of sorts, I would take a wild guess that the award would have its origins from the first war era more than likely; as indeed intimated in Thomas' link.
As you may well know, several German and Austrian firms produced Turkish awards.
Thus far, it's an anomaly to me!
