    German Case for Turkish medal

    Hi All,

Today I went to Ciney and took some pictures of a case. The pictures aren't how they should be, but it's clearly difficult to take good pics on a busy show. I only took three pics and forgot to ask the price .

The seller told me that its a German made case for a Turkish medal give to German soldiers in WW1. I would say its a WW2 type case, but I asked his twice. Maybe he is wrong and its WW2 or it was given to soldiers of WW1 in WW2 or its ....? I don't know the medal so I also don't know if the inside is missing.

    Greetings, Thomas

The case sure looks German, but I wouldn't know if there was a Turkish star in it

Also as the bottom velvet looks very nice, I don't think there would have been a carton above that... were there any traces of glue?
        Kind regards,
        Giel

          Hi Giel,

Yes, in the left top corner you can see some yellow glue. The velvet only has some damages as you can see in picture 3.

          Greetings, Thomas
