Thoughts on this one.....Yes Purple in color.....so is the shoulde board. Can the Blue fade to this color.....purchased this on the e-stand back in 2005.....can't remember that far back.....comments are welcome

Thank you Gene. Please tell me why in your opinion is it purple. When I found the shoulder board buried in my collection....I felt a little better about it! The backing seems odd as I have never seen one like it before.

The HG cuff titles could be found on all different types of material with various types of script. They were made in Germany, Belgium, Holland and other places as well. It likely started out blue but over time it faded to a purplish color.

If you say this is a copy, I take your meaning that it is not original to the period.
