Krim Shield... original?

Gentlemen,

can I get some opinions on this Krim shield? I honestly don't know enough about these to be certain one way or another. If its original, can a maker be identified? Thanks in advance! Matt

It's an original shield and possible maker is Deumer.

Well here is the odd thing, it's attached to a tunic I snagged out of the woodwork on Friday. It shows holes on the backside from having been machine seen at some point but the prongs are into the tunic sleeve. It's been on this tunic for a long time... Makes me think the soldier saved it from a previous tunic and put it on. Matt
