    i personally think it is a good shield, but a 2nd opinion is welcome.

      I agree with Pascal, material looks good, and details too. But better pictures are needed.

                        There are some products that can be useed without damage the shield, but Always carefully. Or there's a silicon oil or wax to stop the rust advancing.

                          Thanks for replies, i really appreciate that. For rust prevention i would prefer some kind of wax.

                            May be better to leave it as found...might be blood. Leaving it alone does not hurt the value...might be something to put in a small plastic bag when not displayed to keep the air out...and not spread to anything else...very nice regardless .
