    KRETA cuffband - Kriegsmarine ?

    Hello,
What do you think about this one? If such variant was used during WWII?

Weitze is a dealer, Price is very low if it is an original so called Kriegsmarine.
But I do not like sewing.

I own original white and it is definetly different.

I like it, I owned one and sold it on the estand a while back- I don't think that price is low- they are rare as hell but for some reason not all that desireable

        Hi,

I thought it was a nice piece and tird to buy it but was too late and got a "sold" message.

When you think of how rare it is I think it was offered at a decent price. The USD/Euro exchange made it a bit steep. But had this been an SS title of equal rarity the prices would have been multiples of this asking price.

Nope. I was thinking the same thing. I suppose it's possible, but I'd need some sort of proof, such as photo of wartime wear.

I've never heard of nor seen a wartime photo of a KM Kreta Cufftitle.

Someone got one heck of a bargain. This is a VERY rare cuff title.

AFRIKA cuffband was authorised in one pattern, too. But green backed variant exists. Please see this disccusion (particulary post number 15, 22, 27).

This was green variant. Why didn't blue, dark blue or other? This question is without answer. Maybe KRETA was made as blue variant, too ?

The question has an answer and that is that this item is a fantasy piece please stop trying to justify and give credibility to an item that never existed in this form by saying it maybe a variant, its not.
