    A Narvik in question?

This Narvik sort of stood out in my mind. It was offered by an online dealer.
Is this a small 4 model forgery?

Look forward to seeing other's opinions.

    Regards,
    JustinG

Although I have very little experience with these, I do not believe so. Check this thread, http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=358972

Thanks, I just saw it and the rounded top 4 is always a bit suspicious and I thought with the full on view that it might have been a small "4" it did appear so (in my fisheye view )
Thanks for the clarification. With regards,

I agree Deumer...It doesnt seem to have the sharp detail of other Deumers I have in my files but I still dont have a problem with it...just seems like a well worn original

            Regards,
            Chris G.

Nice original so called Deumer type shield.
              In good condition as well.

It would be interesting to know which backplate was used on this shield.

...and when it's in hand I'll post some really clear photos of it and also let you know what I can about the back plate...

                Regards,
                Stu
