Rusty Kuban Shield

Hello,

I would like some help with a rusty kuban. I picked up this Kuban Shield about a year ago. When I got it, it had some minor corrosion on the front and back. Slowly it has become worse and worse.

How can I stop this from happening and is there any way for me to restore it with out damaging it.

I will let the pics do the rest of the talking.

Hi Cam,
Very difficult angle of the picture to determine the originality of any shield but I am sure the shield is good.

As for preserving the shield I would suggest to use a small (stiff) brush and some ordinary oil. After you brushed the areas with the corrosion wipe off the oil with a paper tissue.
