IMO they have always been there however thanks to ever increasing collectors knowledge, partialy as a result of specialisation, we are now able to spot them. We move forward they don't but then again they have to know everything about every area of collecting and that is impossible to accomplish nowadays.

This fake is so old it has been on Mike Tucker`s fake warning site for quite some years!
